Already bought VPNonly? This is the current version. Your licence still works, and there's nothing to buy again.

Lost your licence key, or never got the email? Open your purchases page and sign in with the email you bought with — your key and download are both there, any time. (Check your spam folder first; receipts sometimes land there.)

Updating from an older version

Quit VPNonly (click the shield, then Quit), drag this one into Applications replacing the old one, and open it. Your licence key, VPN settings and app choices are all kept.

This is the last time you'll have to do that. From 1.5.0 onwards VPNonly updates itself: you get a prompt, click Install, and it handles the rest without macOS asking you to approve the app again.

What's new

Every country your provider offers, with search and recents, instead of a fixed list of ten.
Apps stay in the VPN. Quit an app and open it again, from the Dock, Spotlight, anywhere, and it goes straight back into the tunnel.
It won't disappear into the menu bar. If your menu bar is full and macOS hides the shield, VPNonly opens in a window with a Dock icon instead.
