AzireVPN split tunneling on Mac

AzireVPN has a Mac app, but it doesn't advertise per-app split tunneling on macOS: connect it and your whole Mac moves. AzireVPN also gives you standard WireGuard configs from your account, though, and those can put a single app on the VPN while everything else stays on your normal connection.

Get a WireGuard config from AzireVPN

1. Sign in to AzireVPN's WireGuard config page. You need a paid account; there's no free plan.
2. Choose the locations you want and download their configs. Each location is its own .conf.

Put one app on it with VPNonly

1. Install VPNonly and open the ⋯ menu → Import WireGuard config….
2. Choose the .conf, or select several (or the folder or zip they came in) at once. Pick the exit from the menu at the bottom.
3. Search for an app, flip its switch. It relaunches once, then it's on the VPN and nothing else is.
